Whoopi Goldberg And Raven-Symoné Continue To Defend Bill Cosby

Allegations surrounding Bill Cosby and whether he drugged and sexually assaulted or raped possibly dozens of women over the course of several decades have resurfaced. Recently released court documents from 2005 have Cosby testifying under oath that he procured quaaludes that he planned on giving young women he wanted to have sex with. Many see this as further evidence that Cosby is guilty of the crimes he has been accused of. Even singer-songwriter Jill Scott, who was as staunch an ally of the disgraced television icon as any, has walked back from her defense of Cosby. However, on The View, hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Raven-Symoné continued to defend him, saying they need irrefutable proof. Raven-Symoné said, "I don't really like talking about it that much because he's the reason I'm on this panel in the first place - he gave me my first job. But, at the same time, you know, you need the proof and then I'll be able to give my judgment here or there." Goldberg added, "We'll see what happens. As more information comes out people can make judgments. I don't like snap judgments because I've had snap judgments made on me. So I'm very, very careful and save your texts, save your nasty comments, because I don't care."
