by The Insider 0:50 mins

Debbie Matenopoulos was one of the original women on “The View” when the show first began back in 1997, jump starting her TV career at just 21-years-old. But, the blond was replaced by Elisabeth Hasselbeck in 2003. Now, more than 15 years later, "omg! Insider" caught up with the star as she hosted the ALS Greater New York Chapter Fundraiser (ALS-NY.org) on Wednesday and the beauty shared her reaction to the shake up to the show's cast. She said of hearing the news Elisabeth was leaving, “I was surprised because I thought she was a good fit and everybody there thought she was a good fit.” Check out "omg!"
