Oprah Winfrey on Getting Older: 'To Deny Your Age Is to Deny Your Life'

by The Insider 1:01 mins

"omg! Insider" co-anchor Thea Andrews takes us on location with the amazing Oprah Winfrey for the cover shoot of the May issue of O Magazine. While most women in Hollywood fear getting older, Winfrey, 59, embraces the aging process. "People get all screwed up and afraid about aging, when in fact, it should be a celebration," she notes. "You should be celebrating every year that you are given. That's why I don't understand when women lie about their age and everybody dreads getting older. It means you're still here!" Indeed. In addition to her interesting perspective on aging, the talk show queen also gives us a fun, behind-the-scenes look at some of her favorite on-set rituals.
