Inside Rob Kardashian’s Serious Health ‘Krisis’

Two years after pledging to regain his health, 28-year-old Rob Kardashian has been hospitalized and reportedly diagnosed with diabetes. It’s believed he was taken to the hospital after not feeling well over the weekend. Dr. Caroline Messer, an endocrinologist who has not treated Rob, tells “The Insider With Yahoo” that his condition can be controlled with diet and exercise, but if left untreated the prognosis is dire. “If the diagnosis is left completely untreated and you go into diabetic ketoacidosis, that can eventually lead to a coma and death,” she explained. “There can be other complications, such as blindness, the need for amputations, kidney failure, and the need for dialysis.” While Rob has remained absent from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” since 2014, his health issues were a subplot on the E! reality show. He was last seen in public on June 16, when cameras caught up with him at a fast-food restaurant late at night. Concern over his condition intensified two weeks ago when Kourtney posted this image alongside a picture of a healthier Rob. The next day, Khloe posted a selfie with the caption: “If only you could see yourself through my eyes!
