John Travolta on Substance Abuse: ‘We’ve Lost Way Too Many Artists to Drugs’

by The Insider 1:20 mins

Back in 2011, before Cory Monteith tragically passed of a heroin and alcohol overdose, he visited “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and revealed he was a huge fan of John Travolta. And while John didn’t know about Cory’s drug use, he wants to help others grappling with substance abuse. He spoke at The Church of Scientology’s Celebrity Center on Saturday for their 44th Annual Anniversary Gala and said, “I couldn't let this night go by without just making some sort of plea to each of you. That we've lost way too many artists to drugs.” Check out the vid to hear what John’s wife, Kelly Preston, had to say and tune into “omg! Insider” on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
