Zooey Deschanel Wears No Makeup in People's Most Beautiful Issue: What Other Stars Have Gone Fresh Faced?

Yahoo Contributor Network

In the 2012 "Most Beautiful" issue of People magazine, popular "New Girl" actress Zooey Deschanel, known for her huge, blue doe eyes and heavily mascaraed lashes, takes all of her makeup off for a pretty, fresh photo shoot.

Other Hollywood hotties have appeared stripped down for the camera; who are they?

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson showed up au naturel in the May 2010 issue of Marie Claire magazine. The beautiful blonde went without makeup, retouching or Photoshop for her layout in order to encourage other girls to feel good about themselves. She said she has "nothing to prove" and it's clear she looks great no matter what.

Selena Gomez

Teenage singer Selena Gomez went color-free for the 2010 issue of People magazine's Most Beautiful issue. It could be her youth or genetics, but the half-Italian, half-Hispanic brunette songstress is pretty no matter what, and proud to show off her natural beauty.

Lady Gaga

It was a shock for fans to see the normally heavily made up singer Lady Gaga on the cover of Harper's Bazaar last year sans anything on her face. Her fair skin, blonde eyebrows and bedroom eyes make her makeup free face seem, well, normal.

The pop star said she feels herself whether she is wearing makeup or not, and she is always the same person inside.

Kim Kardashian

Glamorous Kim Kardashian is always seen out and about impeccably made up, down to her manicured nails. It's refreshing to see the reality star looking ridiculously beautiful without any makeup at all save for some lip balm for this photo shoot in Allure magazine in March 2012.

"Snooki" Polizzi

Twitter followers of "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi got a treat this past January when the always over the top star Tweeted a photo of herself without a bit of makeup. Without the fake tan, huge eyelashes and colorful eyeshadow, Snooki is absolutely beautiful.
