Denzel Washington's gut-wrenching drama soared above Ben Affleck's Argo, which pulled in a hefty $10.2 million in its fourth week. Neck-and-neck with the political film was the RZA-directed kung-fu flick, The Man With the Iron Fists ($10.2 million).

Taken 2 claimed the fifth position with $6 million, followed by Cloud Atlas at $5.3 million and Hotel Transylvania in seventh with $4.5 million. Paranormal Activity 4 ($4.3 million), Here Comes the Boom ($3.6 million) and Silent Hill: Revelation ($3.3 million) round out the weekend box office.
