Robert Pattinson sat down with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show on Monday, August 13 for his first public interview since Kristen Stewart cheated on him. Jon kept the conversation light, joked about the breakup when he presented Rob with a carton of Ben & Jerry's ice cream but avoided any pointed questions about Kristen out of respect for Rob, according to an insider. Our insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, "Jon Stewart didn't ask Rob any tough questions about Kristen. Very cool of Jon! And that was Jon's decision." According to our source, Jon made his decision because he genuinely likes Rob. "Jon has always thought Rob is a cool guy and didn't want to put him on the spot," our source says.
