Yo Vanilla!

It's been a while since Vanilla Ice has given us something to talk about, but the '90s rapper recently tweeted a photo of his freshly inked feet. (And by freshly inked, we mean we hope it's marker.)

The caption: "WORD TO YOUR MOTHER! LMAO!" And the pic: A shot of his feet with the words "MILEY CYRU$" on them.

But why would the "Ice Ice Baby" singer be turning to ink ink, maybe?

Turns out he was paying homage to the 20-year old twerker after she got a name tattoo to celebrate her first Rolling Stone cover.

In a recent interview for the legendary rock magazine, Cyrus mulled over something fun to do to toast her cover: "I thought about going to play laser tag," she said. "But laser tag sucks. And we could have gone bowling, but what are we, 90?" Instead she opted to ink her feet with the words ROLLING $TONE.

She also dished on a celeb who has her Disney alter ego's initials on his bod: "Did you know Alec Baldwin has Hannah Montana's initials tattooed on him?" she said. "No, wait-Stephen Baldwin. He said he was my biggest fan, and I told him my biggest fans have tattoos. So he got 'HM' tattooed on his shoulder."

In that same interview, Miley did some name dropping and compared her pop star pal, Justin Bieber, to one hit wonder hip hopper, Vanilla Ice.

"He's trying really hard," Miley said of the 19-year-old "Never Say Never" singer. "People don't take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. I just don't want to see him [screw] that up, to where people think he's Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, 'You don't want to become a joke."

Miley isn't the first person to compare Justin to Vanilla. Earlier this year, Kid Rock told radio shock jock Howard Stern that watching Bieber is "100 percent like watching Vanilla Ice all over again."

He even dished this diss: "Well, as soon as Bieber has a hit, he'll be like Vanilla Ice."

The Michigan rocker added, "I mean the kid's young, he's got some money, he's got the world in his hands. It's just kind of sad to see him go down this trajectory. It's gonna be a very long ride down, we all know the story. I kind of feel for the kid, to be honest with you."

Meanwhile, if you think Vanilla was offended by the comparisons, you might be surprised to learn that he actually agrees with them. He told TMZ that Justin needs to make a change: "It's like living an artificial life," he said. "When the dust settles, no one can figure it out or help you but yourself."
