Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick had a fabulous wedding.

It's been a wedding kind of October, with actor Robin Williams and "Bachelorette" star DeAnna Pappas both walking down the aisle over the weekend. Paul McCartney also tied the knot this month (again!) and even Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed finally said "I do."

So with all this wedding hoopla, it got us to thinking: Who needs a wedding planner when you can just pilfer ideas from the stars? Check out these celeb wedding ideas!

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

What do you get when you mix a Vera Wang gown (or two!), 450 guests and performances by Robin Thicke and Earth, Wind & Fire? A Kardashian wedding, of course! But if you can't afford the musical talent that Kim Kardashian and Co. did for their 2011 wedding, at least try to get your baker to whip up a knock off version of the couple's multi-tiered chocolate and vanilla swirl wedding cake accented with chocolate chips.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes

In 2006, actor Tom Cruise wed Katie Holmes in a ceremony held in a medieval castle in Italy. And that was just for starters! According to People, guests dined on risotto, sea bass with artichokes and parmesan-crusted filet and red Barbesco wine and champagne. Dessert was a five-tiered, white chocolate mousse, decorated with marzipan roses. The festivities culminated in a fireworks display.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton

How's this for a budget stretcher? The groom wore Wrangler jeans! Country music superstars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert stayed true to their roots for their May 2011 shindig, which included a menu main course of deer meat-- harvested by the bride herself!

Alicia Silverstone and Christopher Jarecki

Clueless about what to serve at your wedding? Alicia Silverstone wasn't! In 2005, the "Clueless" star threw an all-organic wedding that was a vegan affair to remember! In addition to sending out recycled invitations and utilizing a bar made out of vintage wine barrels, the menu included grilled tempeh with black rice and mini chocolate-almond cakes topped with raspberries.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott

Now these are ideas that anyone can afford! According to In Style, at their 2006 wedding reception actress Tori Spelling and her hubby Dean McDermott had a "wish tree" made of willow branches and cymbidium orchids. Guests were invited to write personal notes to the couple and hang them on the tree. The couple also served guests mini Rice Krispie treats which were dipped in a chocolate fountain.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick

The usually-bubby bride went over to the dark side when she wore a black dress to her 2004 wedding to Matthew Broderick. She later told Harper's Bazaar that she regretted the decision, saying if she could do it all over again she would wear white. "I'm not kidding," she said." White it up. I'd wear a beautiful, proper wedding dress, like I should have worn on the day."

Julia Roberts and Danny Moder

Can't afford a reception hall? How about a backyard barbecue instead? Back in 2002, Julia Roberts' July 4th wedding to Danny Moder was all- American! The feast included barbecue faves like hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, steak shish kabobs and corn on the cob. Lemon wedding cake was served for dessert.
