The app for the iPad® , iPhone® and iPod touch® debuted Thursday. Business Insider called it "elegant." Fast Company said that it had the potential to "bring about a change to TV's future." Or maybe it already has, as @AmberBeeeee tweeted: "My discovery of the TV Guide app has changed my LIFE."

The app is a one-stop TV companion for fans who want to find, share and watch their favorites instantly — anytime, anywhere. The centerpiece of the app is TV Guide's Watchlist, which allows users to add their favorite shows, sports teams, movies and actors to a list that shows them when, where and how to watch — on TV, on demand, streaming or on DVD.
New features include New Tonight Trending, a social hot list based on what other TV Guide users are watching. The new app also includes social check-in and discussion capabilities with TV Guide's "I'll Watch" button; the ability to search across all video sources, including specially curated video channels; award-winning original editorial content including the latest breaking news, photo galleries and special sections; and of course the best listings grid in the business.
