Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song Call Off Their Engagement
In a statement released today, Trace Cyrus opens up and announces that his engagement to Brenda Song has been called off. Are you shocked?
Following a week of news regarding his sister’s pending nuptials, Trace Cyrus has a love announcement of a different sort to make today: He and Brenda Song have ended their engagement.
In a statement released by his rep, Trace tells Just Jared, “Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways.” The statement continues, shockingly, that this decision isn’t such a recent one.
“We split up a couple of months ago,” the 23-year-old musician says. He adds that he continues to support Brenda and wishes her success in the future.
The statement concludes with a request for fans: “I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation. Thanks so much.”
