Tom Cruise’s Kids, Connor & Isabella, Have Not Talked To Katie Holmes Since Divorce — New Report
It’s been less than three weeks since Katie filed for divorce, and in that time, there’s been no contact between Katie and the kids. Are you surprised?
Katie Holmes may have only had one child’s custody to worry about during her divorce from Tom Cruise, their six-year-old daughter Suri, but she was also a major presence in the lives of Tom’s other two children for the duration of their seven-year marriage. Now, a shocking new report indicates that Connor and Isabella Cruise have not spoken with Katie since the divorce.
According to a new story in Us Weekly, a source who knows the former couple says that Tom is concerned about the effect the divorce will have on Connor, 17, and Isabella, 19. “He thought of them all as a unit,” says the friend, who also noted that the kids hadn’t spoke to Katie during this time.
But the article counters with another source who says Katie should be focusing on Suri during this time. The source, who is said to be close to the situation, says that, though Katie bonded with her stepchildren, “during her entire time with Tom, it was never lost on anyone that [Connor and Isabella] do have a mother and her name is Nicole.”
While that may be true, this still must be incredibly tough on the two. Katie had been in their lives for seven years, during their formative teenage years. Regardless of who their mother is, they must be missing Katie terribly.
