Tom Cruise: Katie Holmes Thought I Looked Hilarious In ‘Rock Of Ages’

Tom Cruise stars in the new film, Rock of Ages, and his eccentric style is shocking fans — and his family. But Tom says his wife, Katie Holmes, loves the style!
In an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife.com, Tom spoke candidly about his experience shooting Rock of Ages.
“I wish I had more scenes with [Catherine Zeta-Jones],” said Tom. “She is just a legend in the musical world. And Alec Baldwin, who I have known and admired for so long…to do a scene with him and Paul Giamatti and Julianne [Hough]? All of it was fun!”
They weren’t the only motivation for Tom to come aboard the film, though!
“I am always looking for something different,” says Tom. And his resumé proves that, with roles in classics like A Few Good Men, and Top Gun.
In fact, the heartthrob said he would LOVE to make Top Gun 2! ”I want to fly those jets,” said Tom!
But what about that insane rockstar get-up?!
Tom laughed out loud, before admitting, “[Katie] thought it was hilarious! It was wild!” Katie wasn’t the only one who was taken aback by the black nail polish and eyeliner!
But beyond the talk of his outlandish outfits, some critics are saying that his performance as Stacee Jaxx might earn him an Oscar!
Tom remains humble though, and would only comment, “Here’s hoping!” with a shy smile.
