Todd Bridges, 47, the sole surviving child star of the 1970s/80s American sitcom "Different Strokes," has hit another setback. The author of Killing Willis: From Different Strokes to the Mean Streets to the Life I Always Wanted is divorcing his wife Dori of 14 years. Like some other stars who hit tough times in their lives, Bridges has tweeted religious statements that let us know that he is getting through his divorce with help from the Lord.

Tweeted Bridges, "Life is full of changes God allows them to better your life. Either you except his changes now or you painfully deal with them. GOD has you forever or you suffer your own pain God is there to help you but you must let him carrie you or the pain will be great."

Who are some other stars who seek the Lord for help?

Jennifer Hudson

The 30-year-old singer's mother, brother and nephew were killed in a shooting. Through it all, Jennifer has worked hard to keep going and retain her faith in God. "All I know is God just keeps on blessing me!" Tweeted Jennifer.

Kim Kardashian

She divorced Kris Humphries after only 72 days, but that's not the only thing that draws the haters out. One way the 31-year-old deals with it is with her strengthened views on religion and attending church. Tweeted Kim, "I would be lost if I didn't go to church to reflect back on my whole week."

LeAnn Rimes

Rimes married Eddie Cibrian in 2011 after cheating on and later divorcing Dean Sheremet in 2010. The past is in the past, but her haters continue to hang on. Rimes sticks to her faith in the Lord as her shield. The 29-year-old is fond of inspirational quotes. "'When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, I used everything you gave me. -Erma Bombeck,'" tweeted Rimes.
