Taylor Swift had packed a lot of boyfriends into her short 22 years on the planet. She's been linked to everyone from Joe Jonas to Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer. Now, we know why! The country crooner says she's the type to fall in love quickly.
"Not if it's the wrong person, yes if it's the right person," she told Marie Claire of falling in love in a flash.
"Even after it explodes into a million pieces and burns down and you're standing in a pile of the ash of what it once was thinking, 'Why did I have to meet this person, why did this have to happen?'" she mused. "But then, when you make eye contact with someone across the room and it clicks and, bam, you're there. In love again."
Wonder if that's what happened with her current boyfriend, 18-year-old high schooler Conor Kennedy? She seems super happy with him, but we think this is going to crash and burn sometime soon.
It shouldn't be surprising that celebrities quickly move from one relationship to the next - they want attention in any way possible. Still, very few admit that they're serial daters.
Kim Kardashian admitted that her blink-and-you'll-miss-it marriage to Kris Humphries was a result of her just wanting to be in love.
"I've always been the type to fall in love fast and, with every boyfriend, I plan out my wedding in my head" she told InStyle earlier this year.
The reality star - who is technically still married to her husband of 7 days - has now moved on to Kanye West. She swears up and down that they're taking it slow, but we have our doubts.
"I've always believed in love," she insisted.
Okay, Rachel Uchitel isn't exactly a celebrity, but she did earn a bit of notoriety after she was unearthed as Tiger Woods' main mistress. The former New York City socialite is now married with a child, but in 2010 she admitted that her relationship with Woods was part of her search for love.
Why is she so desperate for attention? It likely has something to do with the death of her then-fiance, Andy, in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
"People don't really understand love addiction, but I think a lot of women will relate to it,' she told the U.K. Daily Mail.
"…Since I lost Andy, I have always been looking for the perfect man. I wanted a man who would marry me, give me the house and children I long for. I plunged headfirst into relationships which I should never have been in."
We typically think of women when we think of love-seeking celebrities, but men can do the same thing. Case in point? Ryan Reynolds. The Canadian actor seems to be a serial monogamist: He was engaged to Alanis Morrisette, married (and divorced) from Scarlett Johansson and now married again to Blake Lively.
The reason? There doesn't have to be one; he just loves relationships.
"Ryan loves the comfort Blake provides," a source told US Weekly of his new marriage with the "Gossip Girl" star.
"They are ridiculously in love," another source said.
Do you think Taylor Swift's relationship with Conor Kennedy will last?
