Ty Burrell -- nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Modern Family -- "I am honored and humbly surprised that this good fortune continues. I've never had something so wonderful happen 4 years in a row before, other than winning the NY state lottery from 1993 to 97. I share this with the entire cast and crew of Modern Family. I'm sure it’s not surprising to anyone who's ever worked on a television show, but our writers are the reason we're still in this position. I'm eternally grateful for their talent and surprising good looks."

Vera Farmiga -- nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Bates Motel -- "It is such an honor to be recognized by the Academy and in the company of such brilliant women. I'm grateful to Carlton, Kerry and Anthony for gifting me with the opportunity to play such a complex woman and for breathing new life into the iconic Norma Bates."

Carrie Preston - nominated for Guest Actress in a Drama for her recurring role on The Good Wife -- "I was walking my dog in Midtown Manhattan this morning when my texts started blowing up with 'Congratulations!!' At first I thought, congratulations for what? And then I stopped dead still in the middle of the crowded sidewalk and started repeating 'Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.' But in NYC, I'm sure I just looked like another crazy person."

Robin Wright -- nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for House of Cards -- "I'm so proud to be a part of such a ground breaking project as House of Cards.  I'm thrilled that our show has been recognized and I want to thank the academy for this great honor."

Sofia Vergara -- Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Modern Family -- When informed of her fourth Emmy nomination, replied: "I better not finish this cheesecake then."

Mayim Bialik -- nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for The Big Bang Theory -- "I am legitimately in shock and beyond honored to be nominated for the second year in a row alongside the inspirational Jim Parsons and our fantastically written show. I can't begin to express how shocked I am to be nominated with such an impressive group of women. Wow! Now I have to find a dress."

Morgan Freeman -- whose Science Channel series Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman was nominated for Outstanding Documentary or Non Fiction Series -- "It is especially rewarding to us that our producing team is being noticed for its work exploring big ideas from some of the world's great scientists.  We are extremely grateful to the Academy for this recognition."

House of Cards Executive Producer Beau Willimon on the historic nominations for the Netflix-created show -- "All of us at House of Cards are honored by the nominations. Almost four years into this journey, and well underway on production for Season Two, it's such a thrill to have the collective efforts of our talented cast, crew, designers, directors and writers recognized by the Television Academy. This dedicated team has made House of Cards by far the most rewarding artistic experience of my career.  I'm particularly happy for Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright - they are the center of our show's universe and make every episode shine. And of course I'm delighted for (Director) David Fincher - his brilliance and vision inspire us all."

Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman -- whose Discovery Channel series from MythBusters was nominated for Outstanding Reality Program -- "We are already crazy grateful to have been able to do this insane job for so long. Being nominated for a fifth Emmy feels almost greedy. Almost. We are so proud of the show but most of all proud of our incredible team."
