Following up Monday's round of emotionally charged performances, three couples eventually found themselves on the chopping block by Tuesday night's end.

Though nary a pair dipped below 24 points in their scores this week, Gavin DeGraw, Gladys Knight and Jack Wagner were determined by a combination of judges' and at-home viewer votes to sweat it out together for eliminations.

Gladys Knight and her partner Tristan MacManus were the first to be relieved from the platform, leaving DeGraw and Wagner to suffer an excruciating period of worry before Jack Wagner was ultimately given his leave from the competition.

Before the crowd sent the former soap star and his partner Anna Trebunskaya off with a standing ovation, Wagner gave an emotional farewell to the ballroom.

"I had a great time…It was fun to kind of test myself," he said before thanking the judges for the experience.
