Martha Stewart might have a profile on, but she's not exactly the celeb eligible singles are searching for on the dating site. According to a recent poll, over 34 percent of singles surveyed would like to see newly single actress Jennifer Lawrence sign up for the dating site. Another 28 percent want to check out Ryan Seacrest's online profile - and reality star Bethenny Frankel and Jamie Foxx rank highly, too.

They're all single, so why not?

We can see why celebs would shy away from the online dating game, though: Obsessive fans can really ruin the mood on a date. Plus, not to mention that they probably don't want to give out their real contact information to random people on a website.

But, it's not like celebs have never tried the cyber dating game. Stars ranging from Halle Berry to Jenny McCarthy have admitted to checking out the online dating scene.

"I am never who I am. I have been to a couple of dating ones just to see what everybody is talking about. I chime in and say a little fun stuff," Berry once said.

Berry might not have met her fiance, Olivier Martinez, on a dating site, but "True Blood" star Deborah Ann Woll and "Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba both found love online.

Inaba even got engaged to a guy she met on eHarmony.

"I was dating all these younger guys. I was like, 'Maybe I need to change it up a little,'" Inaba said of the site.

Sadly, it didn't work out.

Mila Kunis told Glamour in 2012 that she's dying to try online dating, but her job makes it impossible.

"If I didn't do what I do, I would do Internet dating instead of going out to bars. In two seconds I would. It makes so much more sense," she said.

Well, that whole dating Ashton Kutcher thing is probably a hurdle, too.

Stewart is probably the most vocal about her online dating ventures, though.

"I was reminded how central good relationships are to happiness and longevity. Also, I've always been a big believer that technology, if used well, can enhance one's life. So here I am, looking to enhance my dating life," Stewart says in her profile.

Is anyone interested in taking the 70-year-old domestic diva out to dinner? It would appear that the answer is, yes. She's received over 1,000 messages in the week since her profile went live.

"There's no question that Martha is one of the most popular members ever to join Match," CEO Sam Yagan told "Today."

She's even narrowed down her sea of potential suitors to a shortlist of five.

"There are two that I could have coffee with," she told "Today."
