Liam Hemsworth, Hunger Games

Liam Hemsworth is preparing to follow in his older brother Chris' footsteps. Chris, who has already become famous worldwide for his portrayal of Marvel superhero "Thor," has two huge blockbusters coming out in 2012. First, he reprises his role of Thor in "The Avengers," and then he takes on the role of The Huntsman in "Snow White and the Huntsman."

However, Liam is not resting this summer either. First up is a movie that might end up bigger than his brother's. In "The Hunger Games," Liam portrays Gale in the popular young adult adaptation that hits theaters March 23, 2012. Later in the year, Liam also pops up in "The Expendables 2," the sequel to the 2010 action hit.

With the Australian brothers both about to develop into huge movie stars, here is a look at other siblings who have shared the spotlight in Hollywood.

Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal got his big break in the 1991 comedy "City Slickers," playing the young son of Billy Crystal's character. Both Jake and his sister Maggie got their start in Hollywood thanks to their parents, a film director and screenwriter. Jake hit it big in 2001 when he starred as the title character in "Donnie Darko," a movie also featuring his sister in a smaller role.

Jake has gone on to star in major Hollywood blockbusters while his little sister sticks mostly with independent efforts, although Maggie did appear in the huge 2008 blockbuster, "The Dark Knight."

Luke and Owen Wilson

Luke and Owen Wilson broke into Hollywood together with fellow Austin resident Wes Anderson. Anderson directed the movie "Bottle Rocket" and cast both Wilson brothers in the lead roles. Following this, the brothers moved to Hollywood and became major stars. Owen has gone on to appear in some pretty big blockbusters such as "Behind Enemy Lines" and the Pixar franchise "Cars."

Luke, on the other hand, stuck with smaller movies, both independent hits as well as broad comedies, with his more famous roles in movies like "Old School" and "The Family Stone." Despite their success, the brothers have continued to return to take roles in Anderson's films, as well.

Ben and Casey Affleck

Ben Affleck is the big star of this family, with some major blockbusters and bigger bombs on his resume. However, Casey Affleck might be the better actor of the siblings, with critically acclaimed roles in "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."

More recently, Ben has turned his attention to directing movies to critical acclaim while both brothers have become a little pickier about the movie roles they take to act in. Ben is currently working on his next directorial effort, "Argo," which he will also star in, while Casey last appeared in the 2011 comedy, "Tower Heist."
