Shia's comments about Megan may get him into hot water.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon star Shia LaBeouf made a lot of jaws drop when he admitted that he hooked up with his former "Transformers" co-star, Megan Fox, in a new interview with Details magazine.

LaBeouf "nods affirmatively" when asked if he had a sexual relationship with Fox on-set.

"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen," he said in the interview.

What's unknown -- to both us and LaBeouf -- is if Fox was with her husband Brian Austin Green at the time.

"I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know...." LaBeouf said 12 times. "It was what it was."

Does that make him a jerk -- or is he just being honest about his life? We vote honest. He's not playing the sly celebrity game when it comes to his life -- and we love that about him, though he said he's learning how to keep his mouth shut.

"I just turned 25," LaBeouf said at the NYC premiere of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon."And I'm learning how to edit myself and say 'no comment' now."

We actually don't think LaBeouf is a jerk at all -- after all, he admitted in the Details interview that he can't hook up with women just so he can have sex.

"It's below my dignity. It's not me. I'd feel disgusted with myself. It takes a certain mentality to be able to pay a hooker and stay hard, if you know what I mean," he said.

That's pretty commendable in a world where celebrities and politicians are bedding everyone in sight and lying about it. He also admitted to going out on a date with fellow child star Hilary Duff, calling it the "worst dinner of my life."

Plus, he still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Carey Mulligan.

"I still love her," LaBeouf said of Mulligan "I think she's a [expletive] awesome person and an incredible actress. We're still pals. I wouldn't take any of it back, and I don't think she would either. It just ran its course."

Don't ever change, Shia. You are a refreshing -- and super hot -- actor that keeps it real.

Do you think Shia LaBeouf is a player, or just honest?
