It's not summer yet, but the new season of Royal Pains is already heating up.

American Horror Story vet Frances Conroy is checking in to the USA medical series for a multi-episode arc, TVGuide.com has learned.

Spring TV 2013: Must-see new shows

The Golden Globe winner will play Blythe Ballard, a member of the Hamptons "royalty" who lives in the estate next to Boris' (Campbell Scott) residence, Shadow Pond. After Hank (Mark Feuerstein) treats Blythe for an arm injury, Evan (Paulo Costanzo) becomes determined to land her as a HankMed client. However, Blythe is not easily convinced and has a few surprises up her sleeve.

Best known for playing the Fisher family matriarch on Six Feet Under, Conroy recurred on both seasons of American Horror Story and is set to return for the third cycle, subtitled Coven.

Smallville's Callum Blue will also recur this season as Boris' cousin, Milos Kuester Ratenicz. Although Milos is everything Boris is not — warm and outgoing — the two share the same rare genetic disease. After Boris was killed in an explosion at Shadow Pond at the end of Season 4, Hank ventures to Prague to seek answers about his mysterious passing from Milos. This season, Royal Pains will shoot on location in Europe and Georgia.

Additional guest stars include Moneyball's Stephen Bishop, House of Cards' Kevin Kilner and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23's Liza LaPira as new HankMed clients.

Royal Pains began shooting last week and will return this summer on USA. Are you excited to see Conroy soak up the sun?
