Actor Ryan Gosling is not just incredibly good looking and talented, with yet another heroic incident under his belt he's starting to look like a real life super hero! "The Notebook" star allegedly swooped into the rescue when British journalist Laurie Penny was just about to step into the street and was almost hit by a taxi when she looked the wrong way.

Penny posted on her Twitter account, "I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened," followed by another tweet that read, "I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi."

This is not the first time the sexy Canadian actor has raced in to save the day. Just last summer on the streets of New York City he broke up a fight between two men. A woman who observed the incident pulled out her cell phone and captured a video of what happened. The confrontation was said to have occurred when one man accused the other of stealing his painting. The pair were tangled up together and about to hit the ground when the "Drive" actor calmly stepped up and convinced them to break it up.

Last year when People magazine named Bradley Cooper "Sexiest Man Alive," there were more than a few who thought the honor should have been given to the "Blue Valentine" star instead. Perhaps when it comes time for them to pick the sexiest male in Hollywood this year, they'll make the right decision this time.

Gosling certainly has it all when it comes to being sexy!

Another celeb who's been involved in a couple of chivalrous incidents recently is Prince Harry. The charming redhead was hailed a hero when he swept in to rescue a fellow polo player who was knocked unconscious after he fell from his horse during a recent match.

The victim, American businessman Bash Kazi , said the 27-year-old was the first off his horse, leaping to action to come to his aid. The 41-year-old man told the Washington Post, "(Harry) was the first one off his horse. I remember waking up with these piercing blue eyes looking at me." He added, "(Harry is) a fabulous person; such a gentleman."

You might recall that just last October it was the handsome prince who was the first to rescue a girl that had fallen into a rooftop swimming pool at a San Diego hotel. The 23-year-old woman, Lindsay Hagerty told the Britain's Sun tabloid, "Prince Harry was the first to notice me when I got out and he wrapped his towel around me to keep me warm," adding, "It was such a gentlemanly thing to do."
