Ryan Adams Finally Succumbs to Covering Bryan Adams

Twelve years after a heckler angered Ryan Adams by requesting Bryan Adams' "Summer of '69," the singer/songwriter graciously agreed to cover it.

The song request that once had a fan booted from a show -- after he repeatedly called out for it to be performed -- was beautifully sung by Ryan during his Tuesday show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

In October 2002, Ryan cursed out a heckler that insisted he sing the 1984 hit by the musician with a similar name. According to Billboard, the singer ordered the house lights on and refused to keep playing until the man was removed from the venue. Ryan later reimbursed the fan his $30 and reportedly let him back into the concert.

Over a decade later, the 40-year-old rocker had no qualms about covering the Bryan Adams tune. Mandy Moore's ex simply performed the hit with only a mic and an acoustic guitar.

Ryan also reportedly covered Patrick Swayze's "She's Like the Wind" during his two-night stint at the Nashville venue.
