Royal Roundup: Kate and Pippa on 'Most Influential' List, Plus More Royal News

Though they're already two of Britain's most photographed women, Time has named Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Pippa Middleton to its list of "The 100 Most Influential People in the World."

Citing the sisters' "remarkable rise" from the common life, the magazine article relives Catherine's days as Kate Middleton, when she was dubbed "Waitie Katie" and decried as a social climber with overreaching ambition. Likewise, the piece recognizes Pippa's unlikely elevation to a globally-recognized object of public fascination on account of, at least in part, her rear end.

According to Time, "The Middletons have become avatars of inspiration. Other women aim to dress like them, to emulate their easy athleticism and their more problematic slenderness."

While the adoration for Kate and the interest in Pippa are undeniable, fame is not without a price.

Last weekend, Pippa was photographed riding in a car with three male friends when one pointed a gun at the following paparazzi. While Parisian police are reportedly investigating the incident, the gun is now said to have been a plastic toy, and Pippa's gun-toting friend has apologized for both his behavior and the embarrassment he caused. Perhaps more disturbing than the plastic gun-waving are recent images of a raucous party the friends attended the night before, where guests (which included a dwarf and a nearly-naked nun) dressed in Marie Antoinette-themed costumes, drank wine, and danced. In a video, Pippa can be seen speaking to television reporters present at the lavish bash, even saying a few words in French. No word yet on what the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William think of Pippa's partying, but we're guessing that the nearly perfect pair aren't keen on the non-royal's wild lifestyle and the attention it's causing.

On a lighter note, it looks like Prince Harry may be dating a King. The likable 27-year-old is said to be dating singer Mollie King from the pop group The Saturdays. The pair were spotted together at karaoke night at the London club, Bunga Bunga, and have been spotted together in various other London hotspots. According to sources, the two met at a polo match in 2010, and King coyly dodged questions about her involvement with the prince in a recent interview. While we can't say for sure if the two are involved, we have noticed that Mollie fits Harry's type perfectly, and she looks more than a little like the prince's longtime girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.
