Prized Puppy: Times might be tough for many, but when it comes to puppies, Usher is not averse to dropping some serious cash on cuteness. The singer paid $12,000 on a goldendoodle puppy at the Pencils of Promise Gala in New York City on Thursday, People reported. Former "Gossip Girl" star Jessica Szhor almost beat out Usher at the charity auction, when she bid $11,000 for the pooch, after the singer started the bidding war at $10,000. Luckily, the serious dough for dogs will go to help build schools in places like Laos, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ghana.
Alicia's Real-Life "Clueless" Moment: Not only did Alicia Silverstone's "Clueless" character, Cher, date a guy who turned out to be gay, so did the actress! The 36-year-old, who is now married with a son, opened up to Out magazine about her past relationship with a guy who preferred swimming in the man pond. "I've had so many crushes on gay boys. My first love was so gay, and I didn't know," she said. "I used to defend him because everyone would say he was gay, but he'd say he wasn't. Then, about six years later, he had the big talk with me."
