What's a little hair? Robin Roberts is rocking the bald look and looks absolutely fabulous!

The "Good Morning America" anchor is prepping to go back to work and she's not letting a little thing like some missing hair slow her down. The morning show star returned to the studio for the first time since receiving a bone marrow transplant in September to help ease herself back to work.

"What a thrill to be back at GMA's Times Square Studio this morning and see the best folks in the world, my GMA family," said Roberts who was on hand for an off-camera interview. "I can't wait to get back to the anchor chair in a few weeks."

For now, Roberts is content to do a few test-runs to help transition herself back into the public eye after taking time off for the bone marrow transplant to treat myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare blood and bone marrow disorder.

"After I go through this dry run, my doctors will sit down with me again and we'll evaluate where I am," she says. "I should be back sometime in February . . . I have a date in mind that's very personal and very important to me, but I will ultimately listen to, of course, what my doctors say."

With the debut of her new look, the GMA anchor joins an elite group of stars who have dared to go without hair. Here are some of the stars who have rocked the bald look:

Melissa Etheridge: Rocker attitude and a clean shaved head declared to the world that singer singer wasn't going to give in to a breast cancer diagnosis in 2005. Despite being bald after receiving chemotherapy treatments, the singer took to the stage sans hair for the 2005 Grammy Awards and sang a show-stopping performance of the Janis Joplin hit "Piece of My Heart."

Cynthia Nixon: It was a bit of art mirroring life when the "Sex and the City" star shaved off her trademark red tresses for a role of a woman going through cancer treatment in the Broadway show "Wit" earlier this year. When it came to her own real-life battle with breast cancer in 2006, the actress opted to keep her diagnosis out of the public eye out of the fear of the stigma involved with the disease. She is now an avid breast cancer activist.

Demi Moore: She was at the height of her fame and the ultimate sex symbol when the actress decided to shave her long tresses off for a role in "G.I. Jane." Unfortunately, the risk didn't really pay off and the film was a bit of a box office bust.

Kellie Pickler: The country singer and "American Idol" alum decided to shave her head in sisterly support for a friend with breast cancer. The two have been friends since they were young girls and the star wanted to lend a supportive shoulder to her 'sister' as well as draw attention to the disease. She says, "Cancer does not discriminate. If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram, then it will be worth it."
