Floral patterns are always big for spring, and the past few years one of the biggest trends has been floral shorts. Rihanna was recently spotted in New York City wearing a pair of black floral shorts with a peach top. It would have been a lovely outfit had it not been for the black ripped tights and the black sneakers. The "We Found Love" singer isn't the only celeb who's a fan of rocking floral shorts.

Shenae Grimes

In 2011 at the Nylon magazine party, the "90210" actress wore a pair of tiny black floral shorts with a sleeveless white button down top that was tied at the waist. As fabulous as the shorts were, they were the only good part of her outfit. She made the unfortunate decision to leave the shirt unbuttoned exposing her black bra underneath and it seems as if the ankle strap on one of her heels broke.

Ashley Greene

Rather than go for floral shorts with a solid top, she opted for an adorable floral romper while in Beverly Hills in July 2011. She paired the light colored ensemble with nude heels that had a slight ruffle on the top. It was a perfect spring outfit from head-to-toe that also looked incredibly comfortable.

Emma Roberts

Although the actress had many fashion flops at the 2012 Coachella festival, one outfit stood out as the best - a brown tank top with white floral shorts. She finished off the look with tan sandals, white sunglasses and multiple bracelets and necklaces. Her boyfriend, Chord Overstreet, was on her arm for the event.

Whitney Port

The fashionista stepped out at the 2011 Coachella festival looking super casual in a gray tank over a white top that she paired with red, black and white floral shorts. She kept her long blond locks down and natural and completed the look with large shades and a brown purse.
