Miranda Kerr's days as a Victoria's Secret angel are numbered

Miranda Kerr is hanging up her Victoria's Secret angel wings, saying that she just doesn't have the time to prance around in bras around in bras and panties now that she's a busy mom.

Well, this is what she really said about leaving the lingerie company: "The thing is, I've been modeling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time. I'm just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time … It's three months at a bare minimum."

So now that Miranda will only be a part-time angel, who could swoop in to become her angel apprentice? Here's a look at a few lovely ladies who might make great Victoria's Secret models:

Kendall Jenner

Kendall already has experience modeling bikinis, so perhaps she'll try her hand at rocking the Victoria's Secret runway after she turns 18 later this year. She did recently reveal that modeling for the lingerie company has always been a dream of hers. However, she's not very comfortable with people ogling her body. Kim Kardashian recently took a video of Kendall sunbathing in a bikini, telling viewers to "Look at this body on my little sister Kendall Jenner." Kendall responded by calling her jealous sibling a "creepster."

Suki Waterhouse

This 20-year-old model has walked the runway at London Fashion Week and has appeared in British Vogue, but her most recent claim to fame is being the arm candy of 38-year-old actor Bradley Cooper. Victoria's Secret might consider hiring the blonde beauty because she's already making a name for herself, and she has the same sweet, cherubic face that made Miranda Kerr stand out.

Katherine Webb

Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron's girlfriend turned her Internet fame into an opportunity to model in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and she recently gave reality shows a go by starring on the ABC diving competition "Splash." The pageant queen had to withdraw from the show because of a back injury, so maybe she should make scoring a job with Victoria's Secret her next goal -- it's a lot less dangerous to pose in lingerie than it is to leap off of a high dive in a swimsuit.

Kate Upton

But Katherine Webb better be careful -- Victoria's Secret's casting director can be very hard to impress. Sophia Neophitou once said that Kate Upton couldn't rock the runaway in the Victoria's Secret fashion show because she looked "like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy." Wonder how she would feel about a college football player's girlfriend? Now that Kate has become such a big name, Victoria's Secret should probably be begging the buxom model for forgiveness, but she might be too busy filming movies with the likes of Cameron Diaz to return Sophia's calls.

So who do you think should replace Orlando Bloom's beautiful wife when she clips her wings for good?
