"What's amazing about these family trees is there are thousands of people working on them at the same time!" A.J. told ET. "And they have been working on them for like 5 or 10 years. So it's just grown and grown to now up to over 90 million people!"

Some notable cousin connections came from "Weird Al" Yankovic, who is President Barack Obama's 14th cousin twice removed, and Courteney Cox, who is Justin Bieber's 21st cousin.

"When I figured out that I am related to everyone on Earth I figure why not throw the biggest family reunion ever, The Global Family Reunion," A.J. said.

The Global Family Reunion will give anyone the chance to meet the "most interesting people on Earth and find out why they are your cousin," according to the website. The event, benefitting Alzheimer's research, is taking place June 6 at the New York Hall of Science and will feature celebrity appearances, including David Blaine, Jenna Ushkowitz, Henry Louis Gates, Dr. Oz and Sister Sledge who will sing "We Are Family."

"We are one big family, and my hope is that we'll actually treat each other with a little more kindness, or a little less jerkiness when we realize how closely we are connected," A.J. said.
