Ratings: Sarah Chalke's Parents Experiences Modest Dip, Nashville and Idol Tick Up
In its second week, ABC’s How to Live With Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life) dipped a far-from-catastrophic 14 percent, while Nashville grew and American Idol picked up a little steam.
With 7.3 million viewers and a 2.5 demo rating, the Sarah Chalke comedy retained a decent 87 percent of its premiere-week audience. Some of that erosion can be attributed to lead-in Modern Family (10.2 million, 3.8 rating), which was down 10 percent.

At 10 pm, Nashville (6 million/1.8) was up 9 percent in viewers and 6 percent in the demo.
Over on Fox, American Idol stopped the bleeding with 12 million viewers (+4 percent) and a 3.2 in the demo (+7 percent).
At NBC, audiences feasted on Hannibal leftovers. An encore broadcast of the horror series’ premiere retained 97 percent of its Law & Order encore lead-in with 3.1 million sets of eyeballs and a .9 in the demo.
Lastly, CBS’ Survivor dipped 4 percent, Criminal Minds grew 7 percent and CSI surged 14 percent.
The CW was in rerun-mode.
