"American Idol's" top dawg is definitely leaving the show -- longtime judge Randy Jackson announced his exit after this week's finale -- and the search is on for his replacement. But if you're hoping for a big name diva to fill his shoes, think again.

An Us Weekly report reveals that the days of big paydays for big names (a la Mariah Carey's reported $18 million salary) may be over. A source told The Wrap: "No more big checks for divas."

The diva dynamics backfired this season, with the addition of Carey and co-judge Nicki Minaj contributing to the show's all-time ratings low. But with dueling divas presumably on the do not call list, how will "Idol" producers handle the latest judges' panel vacancy? Here's a few who've been on the rumored list.

Alicia Keys

The "Girl on Fire" singer performed on last week's "American Idol" results show, and in an after-show interview with People, she expressed regret over Randy's departure: "That's so sad. I think he's amazing. I've really loved him for lots of years," she said. But Keys also added, "I don't know if I'd want to be a judge." When MTV asked the singer if she'd consider being an "Idol" judge, she replied, "There's no room for me."

Harry Connick, Jr.

Smooth crooner Harry Connick, Jr., who traded barbs with Randy when he was a mentor on the show earlier this season, told E! Online that rumors of him signing on as a judge are just that. "They're definitely rumors," he said. "People have been so nice to me and have had some nice compliments and it's really, really flattering." But during a recent appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show, Connick said, "I had a good time mentoring. Judging is a whole different deal. I don't know how good I would be at that."

Jennifer Lopez

The former "Idol" judge left the show in 2012 after two seasons, but rumors swirled last month that producers want her back. According to Radar Online, Lopez reportedly initiated talks with producers to potentially return for Season 13, with a source saying, "J.Lo had her manager Benny Medina approach FOX to alert them of her interest in rejoining Idol."

But is she too diva-licious for the new "Idol?" That's up to the producers to decide, but Lopez recently told "Entertainment Tonight" that she isn't ruling out a return to the "American Idol" judges' panel. "That door's not closed," she said. "I know I love the show and I had a great time on it, but the honest truth is I really don't know what my plans are…I still enjoy the show, I still enjoy seeing those singers take that journey…for me, that's the real heart of that show."

Justin Bieber

The pop superstar is at the height of his touring career, but would he consider staying in one place for a steady gig like "Idol?" There have been a flurry of reports that the "Boyfriend" singer is being considered as part of a new "dream team" of judges. An inside source said, "If producers have it their way, Justin, Selena, Pink, and Diddy will be sitting at the judges table next season and that's a powerhouse group and everyone would tune in to see." The Biebs as an "Idol" judge? Never say never!

The "American Idol" Season 12 finale airs May 15 and 16 on FOX.
