Prince Harry

Prince Harry's naked excursion in Las Vegas is already yesterday's news and now the 28-year-old royal is headed back to Afghanistan for another deployment at Camp Bastion in the southern Helmand province.

The Apache helicopter pilot will reportedly be working in an area strongly controlled by the Taliban, according to CNN.

"Working together with his colleagues in the squadron, he will be in a difficult and demanding job, and I ask that he be left to get on with his duties and allowed to focus on delivering support to the coalition troops on the ground," said Capt. Jock Gordon, Commander of the Joint Aviation Group.

Harry previously went to Afghanistan in 2008, but he was taken out of a combat area after information was leaked on his whereabouts.

Prince Harry might be the most high-profile celebrity currently in the military, but he's not the only one who's served his country.

Elvis Presley

Rocker Elvis Presley famous left his burgeoning music career behind to be a part of the U.S. Army. He was stationed for two years in Germany - from 1958 - 1960. Of course, he emerged from the military to become one of the most successful singers of all time.

Montel Williams

You're probably more familiar with Montel Williams from his talk show, but did you know he was a Marine? Williams was a special duties intelligence officer and specialized in cryptology.

Williams is still pro-military: He even favors reinstituting the draft.

"Why don't we spread out that stress and start making more people put on the uniform and defend this democracy?" he told TMZ earlier this year, citing the stress members of the military feel in war zones.

"Maybe it's about time that this country wake up and understand," he added, "that we can't put the pressure of defending our democracy on less that .25% of this entire population."

MC Hammer

We know rapper MC Hammer for his baggy harem pants and his early '90s raps, but you probably didn't know that he also spent three years in the Navy. The Oakland, Calif., native started his military career after a failed baseball tryout. He also considered selling drugs, but (wisely) opted out of that and turned to serving his country.

Do you think it's wise to send Prince Harry back into a war zone?
