Pilot Season: Stockard Channing, Kurt Fuller to Play Mandy Moore's Parents in ABC Comedy

Mandy Moore, meet your parents.

Stockard Channing and Kurt Fuller will co-star on ABC's untitled Mandy Moore pilot.

In the comedy, newlyweds Annie (Moore) and Ben get the opportunity of a lifetime to run a hip, new restaurant in Annie's hometown. Unfortunately, it also brings her closer to her needy and high-maintenance family.

Channing, best-known for her roles in Grease and The West Wing, will play Barbara, the warm, devoted and sometimes overbearing and manipulative matriarch of her family. Fuller will portray Steve, a good-natured guy and dad who's used to taking a backseat to his take-charge wife. Among Fuller's many TV credits are Alias, The West Wing and Supernatural.

As previously announced, Erinn Hayes and Majandra Delfino will also star in the pilot from Wedding Crashers co-writer Bob Fisher and Notes from the Underbelly's Stacy Traub. Last Man Standing duo Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements will also executive-produce.
