Scotty McCreery recently released a holiday album.

It's a holly jolly Christmas for some of your favorite "American Idol" alums -- and some of them may be even busier than Santa Claus! Check out which "Idol" stars are crooning Christmas tunes and who's giving back this holiday season.

Scotty McCreery

On the heels of the release of his newly released Christmas album, season 10 winner Scotty McCreery spread some holiday cheer when he teamed up with "Idol" alum Pia Toscano for a duet of the holiday classic "Let It Snow" during a recent New York City show. Proceeds went to Hurricane Sandy victims.

McCreery -- whose "Christmas With Scotty McCreery" album showcases his deep baritones on songs like "Winter Wonderland" as well as original holiday-themed tunes -- also turned up at NBC's "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" special last week (he sang "Holly Jolly Christmas") and starred in his own Christmas special on GAC, which highlighted charities Salvation Army's Angel Tree program and Samaritan's Purse/Operation Christmas Child. In a press release, the singer said, "I have so many holiday memories that bring a smile to my face but for these kids they might not get the gifts I took for granted growing up."

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson, the first season "American Idol" winner, stopped by singer Blake Shelton's "Not So Family Christmas Special" to roast chestnuts and duet the song "The New Kid in Town" with the country crooner. Clarkson gave a thumbs-up to the special's R-rated humor, saying in an interview, "When I showed up, I didn't know there were skits, and I actually love skits...I think it's fun, and people don't usually get to see me do stuff like that. This is gonna be totally 'Family Guy,' like, 'South Park' fun, like 'SNL' and I can't wait for people to see it. I love that I'm a part of it because I loved this kind of humor -- it's funny to me."

Phillip Phillips

Reigning "Idol" champ Phillip Phillips stopped by Disney's Magic Kingdom last weekend to perform the song "I'll Be Home For Christmas" during the Disney Park's Christmas Parade. Phillips follows in the footsteps of "Idol" alums McCreery and Jennifer Hudson, who have previously performed at the award-winning parade. Disney's Christmas Parade will air on December 25 at 10:00 AM ET on the ABC.

Brooke White

The talented season 7 alum performed at the Rockefeller Center Christmas show, where she sang a cover of the Paul McCartney song "Wonderful Christmastime." (The song also appears on her newly released holiday album, "White Christmas.") And here's an early Christmas present: Brooke's original song, "California Christmas," is available as a free holiday download on iTunes.

Kris Allen

And season 8 winner Kris Allen recently tweeted a pic of the cover art from his holiday record, "Waiting for Christmas," a five song EP that will include songs such as "Holly Jolly Christmas." But the Christmas season is in full swing, so where is it? Um…we're still waiting!
