Paula Abdul has sat on the judging panel for reality competition shows "American Idol," "The X Factor," and "Live to Dance," and has starred in her own Bravo reality show "Hey Paula." It's been rumored that she's coming back to the familiar realm of TV, but will it really happen? In an interview with omg!, Abdul teases that it just might. "I've been approached about several exciting projects, and I've narrowed it down to a few gems that really stood out to me," she reveals. "Stay tuned."

It's less likely that Abdul, who turned 50 on June 19, will return to her career as a pop star, but you never know. She's still proud of her '80s and '90s hits like "Straight up" and "Cold-Hearted Snake," but choosing a favorite is impossible for the singer. "I have such fond memories of all the hits I’ve recorded because they each represented a different experience in my life," she shares, adding that she still performs every now and then. "Music and dance have always been a part of my life. I had a chance to perform this past July in St. Petersburg, Russia. I had a great time, and I'm entertaining the possibility of doing more dates."

In fact, Abdul says it was her background in dance, as a Laker Girl and a choreographer for Michael and Janet Jackson in the early '80s, that led her to another love: jewelry. "As a little girl I was so enchanted with dancing, and with the jewelry and costumes that go along with performing. I guess it's no wonder that jewelry is such a passion of mine. Seeing a spotlight catch the sparkle of a necklace, or even the subtlety of dainty buttons and brooches ... that was just magical to me."

Abdul recently teamed up with Avon to curate a line of holiday jewelry called the Forever Collection, which features "an array of chic jewelry pieces studded with radiant, faceted stones" and are "handpicked to compliment holiday looks." The brand's website currently features other jewelry lines ranging in price from $6.99 for a pair of earrings to $19.99 for a watch. Abdul, who has designed a line of QVC jewelry in the past, says her Avon line will be very wearable. "These pieces won't be solely for wearing on rare and special occasions, then tucked away until the next big event," she promises. "This jewelry is so versatile that it will work wonderfully for setting off a T-shirt and jeans, too." The Forever Collection will be available in November.
