This Sunday, OWN can expect a whole new audience to tune in. The network spearheaded by Oprah Winfrey has featured such motivational guests as spiritual gurus Joel Osteen, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Iyanla Vanzant and Deepak Chopra as well as motivational leader Tony Robbins. Oprah as also dipped her toe in the pool of public sentiment as she interviewed the late Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, and daughter of the late Michael Jackson, Paris Jackson.

Oprah is now taking on the Kardashians.

Oprah is hoping to give viewers a window into the most popular family in America. Kim Kardashian is already inviting her blog dolls to tune in to the soon-to-be epic event. KK writes, "This is beyond amazing! We are so excited to reveal that the entire family is going to be on "Oprah's Next Chapter" on the Oprah Winfrey Network this Sunday, June 17, at 8/7c." The Kardashians are no stranger to high brow TV hosts. After all, they were already named to Barbara Walters' list of "Most Fascinating People of 2011."

Kim goes on to explain her affection for her fellow media mogul. Not surprisingly, she sees Oprah as a role model. The starlet explains, "I've always looked up to Oprah Winfrey as a strong, smart business women and admire all of the incredible work she does for charity, so to actually be on her show with my family is just surreal." Bruce Jenner and Kim's momager Kris Jenner will join the rest of the family in the two-hour chat.

Oprah is big on mission statements. She has urged viewers many times to have a mission for their lives on her various "Lifeclass" programs. OWN describes its mission as "to uplift." So, we would be remiss if we didn't ask, are the Kardashians are the right direction for Oprah and the struggling network?

At the end of the day, TV is about ratings and the Kardashians are a family of entertainers. Love them or hate them, people tune in to watch what Khloe Kardashian Odom might say next and to see how Kourtney Kardashian's baby Mason is doing. Fans are curious about whether Rob Kardashian has gotten it together yet and who Kim Kardashian might be dating next.

Ms. Winfrey always keeps it classy and this is a great coup for her network. We expect Oprah's conversation with the reality TV sensations to be fun and a ratings booster. Whether it is "uplifting" or not, we will probably all be watching. Viewers mean ratings and ratings mean advertisers.

What do you think? Is Oprah too esteemed to interview the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" family? Will you be watching?
