Barack Obama looks hilarious with Michelle Obama's bangs

Barack Obama's new bangs really stole the show at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

The president showed off his face-framing fringe in a series of slideshow photos that pictured him rocking the same bangs as Michelle Obama, but he wasn't mocking Michelle -- back in January he gushed about how much he loves her bangs and even called her new hair the "most significant" event of his second inauguration weekend. So he just loved Michelle's look so much that he decided to try it out himself.

The White House Correspondents' Dinner is often referred to as the "nerd prom," but sexy celebrities like Katy Perry, Kerry Washington, and Sofia Vergara are trying to alter its geeky image by showing up looking all glammed up and gorgeous. However, President Obama definitely put the "nerd" back in "nerd prom" with his new bangs -- they made him look like Moe from "The Three Stooges."

"The Big Bang Theory" beauty Kaley Cuoco should be happy that at least one famous face looks worse with big bangs than she does -- the fake fringe she wore to the SAG Awards to cover up a black eye aged her so much that she looked like Nancy Grace's long-lost older sister.

We're kind of hoping that Barack Obama's bangs turn into an Internet meme. We'd love to see what the president looks like with Kaley's blonde eye-skimming bangs or Kim Kardashian's side-swept fringe that she's trying to grow out. The POTUS could also try out Suri Cruise's avant garde, do-it-yourself hairdo or Justin Bieber's punk pixie.

But Obama's bangs weren't the only highlight of the evening at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedian-in-chief made a few jokes about celebrities, including one about a star who also likes to sport bangs. He quipped, "My charm offensive has helped me learn some interesting things about what's going on in Congress -- it turns out, absolutely nothing. But the point of my charm offensive is simple: We need to make progress on some important issues. Take the sequester. Republicans fell in love with this thing, and now they can't stop talking about how much they hate it. It's like we're trapped in a Taylor Swift album." "Charm Offensive" would be a great title for T-Swizzle's next album.

The president also made this joke about Beyonce and Jay-Z's controversy-causing trip to Cuba: "I've got 99 problems and now Jay-Z is one." Michelle Obama recently called her "mid-life crisis" hairstyle "irritating" because her bangs have started to grow out, so hopefully bringing up the first lady's fringe at the Correspondents' Dinner doesn't lengthen the president's list of problems.
