Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr recently revealed that her son, Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom, was named for her late childhood sweetheart.

"Chris and I had been dating for two years," she told People. "After he died, I wrote him a letter that said I hoped to name my first child after him in some way. I told Orlando, and he was the one who said he'd be happy to do that. Orlando's a good guy."

Sounds like it! Kerr and Bloom aren't the only ones who gave their children names with special meaning -- many celebrities are getting in on the trend!

Victoria Beckham & David Beckham

Victoria Beckham and husband David Beckham welcomed their fourth child -- and first girl! -- last weekend. Their named their little girl in honor of their English heritage and the icon soccer player's typical jersey number.

"Harper is an old English name that [Victoria] has always liked," a source recently told Us Weekly. "Seven is a very spiritual lucky number. She was born in the seventh month, in the seventh hour."

Victoria is definitely enjoying being a mother to a little girl.

"Baby Harper is the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen," the designer tweeted Thursday. "I have fallen in love all over again!"

Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy

Actress Kate Hudson welcomed a son with her fiance, Muse rocker Matthew Bellamy, last weekend.

"So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy. Born 7Ib 12Oz, on 9th July," Bellamy tweeted Thursday afternoon.

Baby Bingham Hawn Bellamy is named -- in part -- for his grandmother, actress Goldie Hawn. Cute!

Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Cage and his wife, Alice Cage, named their son Kal-El Coppola Cage. Why the weird name? The actor is reportedly a huge Superman fan (Kal-El is Superman's Kryptonian name.) The Coppola comes courtesy of Cage's uncle, famed director Francis Ford Coppola.

Jermaine Jackson

Jackson 5 singer Jermaine Jackson picked an interesting name for one of his son: Jermagesty Jackson.

"Well, I like the letter J. Both my first name and my last name start with it. So that's nice. Also, my three previous kids -- Jeremy, Jourdynn and Jaafar -- obviously have done well by it," Jackson said. "But I want something different, a name the majesty of which will both make my other kids feel inferior and guarantee that no one will be able to say it without laughing. The letter J. Majesty. Majestic ... Oh, oh, I got it."

Jason Lee

Former "My Name is Earl" actor Jason Lee and his wife, Beth, named their son Pilot Inspektor after his favorite indie band.

"The opening track, 'He's Simple, He's Dumb, He's the Pilot,' absolutely blew my mind when I first heard it," Lee said of the Granddaddy album "The Sophtware Slump."

"It was from this track that my wife, Beth, came up with the name Pilot for our son."
