After three-years keeping everyone in the dark as to the identity of her son Henry's father, actress Minnie Driver has decided to tell the world who he is, kind of. She did not actually reveal his name when she was interviewed by The Observer, but she did say that he used to write for the canceled FX channel show "The Riches," which also starred Driver and fellow-Brit Eddie Izzard.
So why did the "Grosse Pointe Blank" star decide now was the best time to spill the beans? "I don't need to protect him anymore. He can fend for himself. He's a grown-up." Driver didn't exactly use glowing terms when describing the job Harry's dad is doing as a father, either. "Is he a good dad? Sort of. He's figuring it out."
If Minnie needs some help navigating the waters of being a single mom, she can look to any of these fellow celebrities for help, as their all in the same boat.
Michelle Williams - No one knows more than Michelle and her daughter Matilda just how devastating and tragic the death of actor Heath Ledger was. Ledger was Michelle's partner and Matilda's father. Since his passing, Michelle has soldiered on, raising Matilda on her own. She's still made time to act though, and her hard work has paid off with an Oscar nod this year for her work as Marilyn Monroe in "My Week With Marilyn."
Sandra Bullock - Ever since her marriage to motorcycle gear head Jesse James blew up in 2010 amid rumors of cheating, Bullock has been raising her adopted son Louis all on her own. She's been spotted out and about in L.A. with little Louis and she seems to be enjoying her new role immensely. There's no denying the pair is quite adorable together.
Kristin Davis - Her character Charlotte on "Sex and the City" struggled with conceiving her own child and wound up adopting a baby. In her case, life has imitated art as the actress adopted her baby girl, Gemma Rose last October. Kristin is raising little Gemma on her own, but she's been all smiles so far.
Mia Farrow - Mia should be the woman that every single mom in Hollywood comes to for advice and counsel. Mia's been raising foster kids for decades. Between her biological and adopted children, she counts 14 kids as her own. When she and ex-boyfriend Woody Allen split it was over an affair Allen was having with one of Farrow's adopted daughters, Soon-Yi. Farrow's been on her own ever since.
