Miley Cyrus Responds to Degraded VMAs Bear Dancer In New Photo

Miley Cyrus is not-so-subtly responding to her former bear dancer. Just over a week after VMAs dancer Hollis Jane revealed in her personal blog that the "We Can't Stop" and "Blurred Lines" set left her "shaking" and "crying," Cyrus has given her two cents with a simple photo.

"#aslongasmybitchesloveme," the 20-year-old performer wrote via Twitter on Thursday, Oct. 17. Alongside the caption, the singer shared a picture of herself braiding hair with three of her back-up dancers -- all of whom are little people just like Jane.

On Oct. 9, Jane spoke out on her personal blog that performing alongside the "Wrecking Ball" singer and R&B crooner Robin Thicke was "one of the most degrading things I felt like I could ever do."

"For decades, little people have not been taken seriously and we still continue to not be," she wrote. "I had never been in a performance where I was purely meant to be gawked or laughed at. I will never forget that performance because it is what forced me to draw my personal line in the sand."

She continued: "After our first dress rehearsal in the costumes with the crew, publicists, performers etc watching us, I walked out of the Barclay Center shaking and crying. I was being stared and laughed at for all of the wrong reasons. I was being looked at as a prop…as something less than human."

Well, it looks like Cyrus isn't letting the comments get her down. As for Jane, when previously asked to audition for a possible upcoming tour for Cyrus, she eventually declined after much consideration.
