Miley Cyrus has her own choice word for Amanda Bynes: "Sad." After Bynes called her "ugly" on Twitter on Wednesday, June 12, Cyrus, 20, fired back at her during a radio interview with Hot 95.5 that same day.
When asked what she thought of Bynes' remark, Cyrus said, "I won't even entertain that thought. I think it's all so sad and I don't want to add any fuel to that fire. It's really so sad to me. I was rooting for her comeback until [she] started attacking me."
Without giving any motivation, Bynes, 27, tweeted a photo of Cyrus from the Billboard Music Awards early Wednesday morning and wrote, "Ur ugly."
Though Cyrus, 20, may not have wanted to engage in a Twitter war with Bynes, the "We Can't Stop" singer did go on to suggest that she thought the Easy A star was simply jealous.
"I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter," Cyrus said. "It's just funny the moment you're a trending topic how many people want your name to come out of their mouth, so somehow they can associate and maybe they can become a trending topic."
But the former Disney star and Nickelodeon actress could battle each other someday on the music charts, as Bynes claims she has plans to release an album.
"I'm so looking forward to recording my album and going on tour!" Bynes tweeted Wednesday. "I can't wait to see you all at my concerts!"
