Michelle: You Gotta Be Trashy & Black for Oscar
Although Precious director Lee Daniels' Paperboy had plenty of talking at the Cannes Film Festival thanks to a scene featuring Nicole Kidman urinating on Zac Efron, perhaps nobody was more outspoken than Michelle Rodriguez.
"I say f*ck them because they don't get it," Michelle told Vulture about the film's many critics. " ... I'm intrigued by his [Lee Daniels] ability to capture me in a theater. It's not easy to capture me in a theater -- I'm ADD like that."

But it's her comments on whether or not she thinks Nicole will get an Oscar nod for her performance that are the most outrageous.
"One of my friends said, 'She's going to get nominated for an Oscar for that.' I was like, 'Nah, man. She's not black!'," she said. "I laugh, but it's also very sad. It makes me want to cry. But I really believe. You have to be trashy and black to get nominated. You can't just be trashy."

Ummm .... seriously?
Nicole Kidman already has an Oscar for The Hours and the last time I checked she's not black. And Viola Davis was far from trashy in her role in last year's The Help.
But I guess you shouldn't expect a Fast and the Furious star to be an Oscars expert.
