Grammy-winning singer Michael Bolton is continuing to hone his comedy chops.

The smooth vocalist, who recently made cameos on Saturday Night Live and Two and a Half Men, will executive-produce and star on a comedy series that's being developed for ABC, Deadline reports.

Bolton will play a fictional version of himself on Michael Bolton's Daughter Is Destroying My Life, which is being developed by Go On's Alison Miller. The project is based on her real-life celebrity run-ins when she first arrived in Hollywood.

It's unclear whether Miller will star on the show (and what that would mean for her role on Go On), but the plot will center on a young writer who accepts a job running social media for Bolton and clashes with his daughter. 30 Rock's Tami Sagher will pen the script.
