Martin Lawrence and Wife Getting Divorced
Martin Lawrence and his wife Shamicka Lawrence are going their separate ways.
"Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce," a rep for the 47-year-old actor told People. "The couple has made the joint decision to part ways."
The couple, who have two daughters, had been together for 15 years before marrying in 2010.

"Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together," the couple said in a joint statement released to the magazine.
CBS recently ordered a comedy pilot starring Lawrence as a widowed father of two teens, who, after losing his construction job, decides to join the police academy and become a cop at the age of 46. If ordered to series, this will be Lawrence's first regular TV role since the end of his Fox sitcom Martin in 1997.
