'Mad Men' Creator's Movie Debut Stars Owen & Zach

Hot off Sunday's season-five premiere of Mad Men and the show's largest audience numbers ever, Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner is gearing up to make his big-screen writer-director debut with the offbeat comedy You Are Here, starring Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis, with Amy Poehler in discussions to co-star.

'Mad Men' Premiere is Most-Watched Episode Ever

"This movie has been my passion for eight years and to see it come together with Owen and Zach and Amy is a dream come true," says Weiner. "I can't wait to get started because the movie is about everything I care about and I'm tired of reading it out loud to my friends."

You Are Here finds Wilson as Steve Dallas, a local weatherman and freewheeling bachelor who embarks on a road trip home with his best childhood buddy Ben (played by Galafinakis, doing what he does best as a "bi-polar man-child") after Ben's estranged father passes away – and leaves him a whole lot more than just money. Complications ensue as Ben struggles with his new responsibilities and inheritance, his sister Terry's (Poehler) ambition, and Steve's desire to be with his father's beautiful young widow, Angela.

'Mad Men' Season 5 Premiere Secrets

Set to start production this May in North Carolina, Weiner's big-screen debut is described as a "funny, charming, and deeply honest film about who we were, who we are, and discovering the power to embrace life, no matter how much you screw it up."
