L'wren Scott, the influential fashion designer and long-time girlfriend of Mick Jagger, was found dead in her apartment Monday morning from an apparent suicide.

The Daily News reports that Scott, who began her career as a model before establishing herself as a stylist in the '90s, texted her assistant to come to her apartment at 8:30 in the morning. When the assistant arrived at 10 am, Scott was hanging from a scarf on a door knob. The assistant called 911, and no suicide note was found.
