LL Cool J Burglary Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

LL Cool J will host the 2012 Grammy Awards, marking the first time in seven years that the celebration will have an official host.

The rapper and NCIS: Los Angeles star has hosted the live Grammy nominations concert show each year since 2008, and he said, "I'm thrilled to be part of Music's Biggest Night. I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true."

LL Cool J joins the ranks of such previous hosts as Queen Latifah, Ellen DeGeneres, Jon Stewart, Billy Crystal and Rosie O'Donnell.

The 54th Grammy Awards will air Feb. 12 on CBS. Performers will include current Grammy nominees Taylor Swift, Foo Fighters, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, and Nicki Minaj.
