After nearly five years, it seems that the legal nightmare actress Lindsay Lohan has been living out may finally be coming to an end. In a Los Angeles courtroom, Judge Stephanie Sautner formally ended Lohan's probation that stemmed from a 2007 DUI arrest. Judge Sautner did have some cautionary words for LiLo though, "You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work."

Once considered one of Hollywood's brightest young stars, Lohan was starring in major motion pictures and was seemingly on her way to a legendary career when she was busted for drunk driving. Then there was the issue of the alleged theft of an expensive necklace, a case which still has Lindsay on informal probation for another two years according to Sautner. It's been a bumpy road for the young actress who just months ago was on the brink of going to jail for violating the terms of her probation.

After a stern warning and a brief four-hour session behind bars last Fall, Lindsay began to attend her court-ordered community service appointments at an L.A. morgue on time, and started to also right her career path. She posed for a nude pictorial in Playboy, hosted "Saturday Night Live" and signed on to play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime movie. Then just a couple of days ago it was announced that she'd be making a guest appearance on "Glee."

So what's next for Lindsay, now that she's apparently ready to climb back up the ladder of career stability? We had a couple ideas we thought Lindsay might like to try.

Write a Book - The public would probably love to hear her side of the last five years. There seems to be enough that's gone on in the "Freaky Friday" star's life to fill three or four tell-all books. Her mother already hinted a few months back that she would be shopping her own memoir around. Though that never came to fruition, the fact remains that Lindsay's story is a very interesting one, and would give her own accounting of what went down, in her own words.

Lay Low, LiLo! - After such a long ordeal that had her every move scrutinized, maybe nothing could be better for Lohan than to sneak off to some ranch in Montana somewhere for six months to a year. She could use that time to reflect on everything that's happened so far, and plan a strategy to get back on top. It would also give the public a chance to move on to some other drama for awhile, so when she does come back, everyone can focus on her career and not the latest fiasco in her life.
