Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes are strangely similar.

In what has become a familiar occurrence, actress Lindsay Lohan has been arrested. This time, the star was busted for leaving the scene of an accident that involved a hit pedestrian. According to reports, the 26-year-old actress struck a man with her car while driving down an alley near a New York hotel. Lindsay spoke to the man after the incident, then parked her car and entered a club. After leaving in the early morning hours, the star was greeted by police and charged with leaving the scene of an accident that involved an injury. Her always-busy publicist declined to comment on the latest incident. Lindsay's latest arrest comes just days after she blasted Amanda Bynes on Twitter, saying "Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" In addition to a laundry list of driving issues, the two actresses have several other things in common. Here are a few of the similarities that the two rivals share.

Both were child stars

Both stars earned their acting stripes when they were very young. While Amanda honed her skills on a series of Nickelodeon shows, Lindsay was doing the same at Disney. Despite the fact that both were famous as young teenagers, they focused on different things. Most of Amanda's credits involved TV, and she didn't appear in a movie until 2002. Meanwhile, Lindsay made her feature film debut in the 1998 Disney remake of "The Parent Trap."

Both have stalled careers

In recent years, neither actress has been a player on the Hollywood scene. Once a huge box office draw, Lindsay's only big screen credit since 2008 is a small role in the film "Machete." However, she has appeared in several TV movies, including the upcoming drama "Liz & Dick." Meanwhile, Amanda has only appeared in one big screen movie since the 2007 hit "Sydney White." That came with a supporting role in the 2010 Emma Stone comedy "Easy A." Amanda once tweeted that she was done with acting, but changed her tune in 2011. "It's not retiring so much," she said. "It's just taking some time off."

Both have dabbled in fashion

Like many celebrities, both actresses have shown an interest in the fashion community. Not only have both modeled, but they have also taken stabs at creative work. In 2007, Amanda launched a short-lived fashion line through the same company that once showcased the work of Venus Williams and Sarah Jessica Parker. The line ended when the company filed for bankruptcy in 2008. Meanwhile, Lindsay dabbled in several areas of fashion before launching the fairly successful line in 2008. The fashion collection is inspired by screen legend Marilyn Monroe, an influence that Lindsay has frequently mentioned over the years.
